Jaupavi Receives the BES Award and Reinforces Its Commitment to Sustainable Development
Jaupavi has been recognized with the BES Award, an achievement that honors initiatives committed to responsible development and positive impact on society. On this occasion, our company was represented by Carlos Alberto Laurito, Director of Institutional Relations at SINICESP.
This achievement recognizes a commitment that has long been part of our journey: developing infrastructure with environmental responsibility, inclusion, appreciation for people, and care for the communities where we operate.
Commitments That Are Part of Our Work
Sustainability is present across different areas of our operations. We hold the Diamond ESG Seal from the Instituto Técnico de Gestão Ambiental, a recognition that highlights our commitment to environmental, social, and governance principles.
On the environmental front, we carry out and support initiatives focused on restoring natural springs, revitalizing rivers, planting native species, and preserving riparian forests, helping protect natural resources, wildlife, and plant life.
During periods of drought, we also have our own Fire Brigade, which carries out fire prevention and firefighting activities, helping protect both the environment and local communities.
Responsibility Also Means Caring for People
On the social front, one of our initiatives is the employment of Paralympic athletes, helping expand opportunities in the job market while strengthening inclusion and adaptive sports.
We also participate in and support several social initiatives, including McDia Feliz, annual blood donation campaigns, Casa Ronald McDonald Jahu, and Abrigo Nosso Lar.
These initiatives may be different, but they are connected by the same principle. We believe that development also involves responsibility toward people, communities, and the environment.
Receiving the BES Award represents recognition of a journey built around this purpose. We will continue investing in infrastructure and working to contribute to a future defined by greater inclusion, social responsibility, and sustainability.
