Here at Jaupavi, Sustainability is part of our essence — it is in the way we are and the way we do business.
We believe that a better future is built today, with conscious actions and a careful look at the world around us.
It is with great pride that we share the renewal of our ITGA ESG Sustainability Certification, and even better: we have reached the highest level — the ESG Diamond Seal!

For us, this achievement validates a journey of daily commitment, where every action reflects our dedication to balancing development with respect for the planet and people.
What is ESG and why is it so important for sustainability?
To understand the magnitude of this certification, it’s worth remembering what ESG stands for. This acronym represents three pillars that guide companies which, like Jaupavi, seek truly responsible practices:
- E (Environmental): How we care for our planet — from waste management to the conscious use of natural resources and minimizing our environmental impact.
- S (Social): Our focus on people — employees, clients, partners, and the communities where we operate. This includes human rights, inclusion, well-being, and the positive social impact we create.
- G (Governance): How we manage our business — transparency, ethics, corporate conduct, and responsible management are the foundation.
For Jaupavi, ESG is a value embedded in every decision and every project.
The sustainability journey toward the diamond level
The ITGA ESG Sustainability Certification is an invitation to look deeply into our practices and align them with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For this year’s renewal, we relied heavily on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) criteria — an international methodology that helps us measure and communicate our environmental, social, and governance impacts.
Reaching the Diamond Seal means meeting strict targets and embracing each of these goals in our daily operations. Our audit report, led by Dr. Amilcar Marcel de Souza, is a mirror of our collective effort.
In 2025, the year of our most recent audit, our concrete Sustainability actions reached an impressive 58 initiatives — a continuous evolution that demonstrates our growth in this area.

This distribution reflects our balance and holistic vision of Sustainability.
Actions that take us further: sustainability in practice
Sustainability is not limited to certificates; it lives in daily actions, in the choices we make, and in the people who walk with us.
Environment: caring for our planet
We know that caring for the environment is essential. That’s why we invest in initiatives that minimize our impact and promote large-scale efficiency.
Our photovoltaic energy generation and purchase of energy on the free market for our plants are strategic steps toward a cleaner and more responsible energy future. Likewise, using gravity in our plants to reduce energy consumption is an example of how innovation is our ally in high-impact projects.
Our waste management shows how we turn what would be discarded into a valuable resource. We monitor and control atmospheric emissions using the Ringelmann scale and have a robust preventive vehicle maintenance program.
People and community
If Sustainability could be defined by a single word, it would be “people.” They are the reason we work, and they are the ones we dedicate ourselves to.
Our financial support and donations to institutions such as Nosso Lar and Abrigo São Lourenço in Jaú/SP, as well as the recent donation of 5,040 liters of drinking water to Rio Grande do Sul after the 2024 floods, are expressions of our human side and solidarity.
But care starts at home: we offer health support with doctors and psychologists, and we invest in the development of every employee through internal training and financial assistance for external courses.
We believe in equality and inclusion, which is why we have equal pay policies for men and women and run awareness campaigns. We are also especially proud to financially support Paralympic athletes in swimming and athletics, believing in the transformative power of sports.
Governance is our foundation
Our governance ensures transparency, ethics, and responsibility in every step we take. With a clear Code of Conduct and an active Compliance Committee, we ensure our operations are fair and trustworthy.
The presence of our CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) and our DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues) and DAS (Weekly Environmental Dialogues) show that safety and workplace well-being are non-negotiable.
By prioritizing the purchase of supplies from local companies, we strengthen our community’s growth chain — a reflection of our commitment to building lasting, trust-based relationships.
Looking to the future: a continuous sustainability commitment
The renewal of our ESG Diamond Seal is indeed a milestone. But for Jaupavi, it is also an invitation to continue growing, learning, and innovating. It is the certainty that Sustainability is a path with no return, one we pave day by day with the dedication of every one of our employees.
We are currently studying our maturity in ESG commitments, aiming to advance even further by the 2026 renewal.
The ITGA-C92025 certification license, valid until 06/24/2026, is a reminder that our commitment is constant and evolving. Because we know: the future is now — and we are building it together.
