On September 9, the Secretary of Logistics and Transport of the State of São Paulo, João Octaviano Machado Neto, carried out a technical visit to the duplication work on the SP-255, from km 155,700 to km 170,500 of the road Otávio Pachedo de Almeida Prado, between Jaú and Barra Bonita.

Accompanied by Superintendent Director Ricardo Gerab, the secretary observed how work progressed.

The works are part of the SP-255 improvement project, which indicates the duplication of 275 kilometers and brings more safety to users traveling in the region.

In addition, the implementation of two access devices on a drop and the access remodeling located at km 156 is also part of the project.

With R$101 million of investment, the works generate 440 jobs and benefit more than 100,000 inhabitants of the region.
